I live and create in Utah Valley with my dearest husband, two energetic daughters, and playful German Shepherd.
I never set out to be a creative. Two loving and encouraging professors changed my path forever by fostering my creativity and believing in me. My creative journey began in oil painting, continued to quilting, watercolor, and pen work, and has evolved to working in Adobe Illustrator. I love both creating in Illustrator and taking my hand drawn work and digitizing it in Illustrator. I often say, Illustrator is my love language.
True story: I was recently chatting with the mother of my daughter’s friend and she told me about the business she is starting. I was so genuinely excited that I started hopping from foot to foot on the balls of my feet whilst clapping my hands softly. I was thrilled for her, her ideas, her prospects, and all-that-can be. I left her house totally distracted by our conversation and with this very important realization:
I want to spend my life engaged in work that has me bouncing on the balls of my feet and clapping with uncontrollable excitement.
